This has three main plotlines that drive the movie, the first is a young guy who comes to town to search for a friend he hasn't seen in ten years. The second is that this guy is hired as a janitor at a local gay/drag club and starts to get involved with some of the worker's lives. The third is that the club is failing and if they don't win a macho dance contest the club will close. Looking at these the parts, the main one where he gets involved in their lives ends on a hopeful and a bit happy note. The second part, about him looking for his friend - they really dropped the ball on this one. During a scene the boss is talking him about finding his friend, and he's like - oh, I already found him (off camera). That was a letdown, I won't give it away, but the friend was another established character, but they hadn't made the connection. We do see one scene of them talking later. For the third part about the club failing, we get to the contest (and some of the dancers are very generous with what they show) and we don't learn the outcome, so the movie ends without knowing the full fate of the club. There are two scenes after this that could hint that the club stayed open, but it could also go a different way too, it was very vague. Overall, it moved at a fast pace and the few plot holes didn't really slow it down, it wasn't a great movie - but it wasn't bad either.
