Takatoshi Minamiyama majors in art at an university in Kyoto. On the train to the school, he sees Emi Fukuju and falls in love with her at first sight. Gathering up all his courage, he speaks to her. They begin to date and enjoy happy days together, but Emi reveals her secret to him.

Adapted from a novel, this emotionally rich film explores a love story entangled in time, elevated by the chemistry between Nana Komatsu and Sota Fukushi. While some time-related logic feels confusing and the scenes are overly bright, the heartfelt narrative and moving performances shine through. At its core, the film reminds us to cherish every moment with loved ones—because time, once passed, cannot be reclaimed.
