It Comes (Kuru) offers an unpredictable and mysterious horror tale adapted from Ichi Sawamura’s novel, with seamless CGI and a shifting narrative that keeps viewers intrigued. Though the changing focus between characters—especially the sudden disappearance of Hideki—may feel jarring, the story remains coherent and ends on a haunting yet unresolved note. At its core, the film urges viewers to take true responsibility when choosing to become a parent, not just in presence, but in providing care, guidance, and emotional support.
