To the Forest of Firefly Lights tells a gentle fantasy romance between Hotaru and Gin, a spirit who cannot be touched, unfolding through nostalgic memories and quiet emotional growth. Rather than relying on dramatic conflict, the film builds its strength through subtle longing, the pain of boundaries, and the awareness that some connections are fleeting. Though its short runtime limits deeper exploration, it remains a tender and visually graceful story that lingers long after it ends.
