Fear of Rain (2021)

Some interesting ideas that don't always mesh well, but I still was modestly entertained and liked the young actors, Madison Iseman and Israel Broussard. I'm no expert on schizophrenia but it seems like they did a good job with it, but could be wrong.

The twist isn't a big surprise though they did kind of cheat in their attempts to fool the audience (it's one of those with a scene only there for the viewer). But otherwise, I'd say it's fine as a rental. **3.0/5**

With strong performances—especially by Madison Iseman—atmospheric visuals, and a suspenseful plot filled with unexpected twists, the film keeps audiences engaged. However, underdeveloped character backstories and unresolved details, particularly regarding key figures like McConnell and Caleb, leave logical gaps that slightly weaken the overall narrative, though it remains a compelling watch.
