Depth of Field (2025)

This is about two guys who meet in high school, one very reserved and the other seems cool on the outside but has a lot of emotional baggage due to past trauma. A friendship develops and when one confesses that he likes his friend as more than a friend, he assumes the friend doesn't feel the same way and cuts him off. That is episodes 1 through 4. Episode 5 picks up 3 years later and they encounter each other again and finally talk thing out; basically a conversation that they would have had in high school if one hadn't overreacted. It was not a bad story, but at only 6 parts they didn't have a lot of time to really get into much. On one hand I kind of wanted it to be longer, but on the other hand I didn't feel that there was a really strong attraction between the characters, so it felt a little forced for me. It was enjoyable and I'm glad I watched it, but I don't think I would watch it a second time.
