Bidadari Mencari Sayap explores the challenges of an interfaith and intercultural marriage through Angela, a Chinese-Indonesian convert to Islam, and her idealistic husband, Reza, whose rigid beliefs strain their family life. Rather than focusing solely on romance, the film thoughtfully examines tolerance, empathy, and the importance of respecting differences in a diverse society. While Reza's character can be frustrating, the strong performances and relatable family conflicts make this a meaningful drama worth watching.
