This film is a philosophical "drama", in the proper theatrical sense of the term. In fact, everything, from the almost total lack of action to the long series of dialogues between the characters, lets a typically theatrical setting filter through, which even reverberates in the actors' performances, ending up giving the whole story a certain artificiality and very little adherence to that same reality to which we desperately try to make sense the whole time. The cast generally performs well. However, viewing may not be advisable for families as there is one scene that comes out of the blue, in which the trimmed pubic hair around Silvia Quondam's vagina is shown at length when she removes her panties in front of a priest.
