Spice and Spell (2023)

This was a very cute drama with great comedic timing and a decent amount of drama. Caught myself holding my breath every time Tos was on the verge of getting caught. Zee and Smile have great chemistry which makes this such a fun watch.

The food looked so good and the cinematography was amazing. Even though our main character is a first rate villain, you kind of have to put yourself in his shoes. Imagine going through the trauma of covid and watching your mom nearly die then go into debt and keep all of that to yourself bc you’re afraid to tell your mom about using the house her husband built her as loan collateral…

I can’t say i’d stoop as low as Tos though but **desperation, especially when you’re broke or poor, can make you do things that are way out of character.** I liked the message they gave throughout the series and how they solidified it in the finale.

Overall, a very cute and funny romantic comedy.
