Bill Lange
Bill Lange is an American oceanographic engineer and imaging specialist who worked at the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution. He participated in the historic 1985 expedition that located the wreck of the RMS Titanic and returned in 1986 to conduct detailed photographic and mapping dives using the manned submersible Alvin. Lange later led WHOI’s imaging and visualization efforts for deep-sea research and contributed to multiple oceanographic expeditions documenting undersea sites and shipwrecks.
