João Sem Deus: A Queda de Abadiânia (2023)
Based on real events, this three-episode series tells the story of two sisters who arrived in Abadiânia 17 years before João de Deus was arrested. During their time in Abadiânia, one of the sisters is traumatized by the violations, while the other becomes a loyal employee. The sisters' reunion is the factor that drives the story forward, culminating in a surprising twist.
