Intensity (1999)

Ana is a mute woman living in a remote mountain area with her sick father, who is searching for a man who will marry his daughter. He finds Miguel, a man who expresses interest in marrying Ana, because of the land he could inherit from her father. In the absence of her traveling husband, Ana meets Mayang, with whom she forms a great friendship. Soon, Ana discovers that Mayang is also married to Miguel.
