The film excels in its structured storytelling, atmospheric visuals, and powerful performances—especially by Masaki Suda, who delivers a nuanced portrayal unlike his previous roles. Supporting actors also shine, contributing to a convincing and balanced cast. However, despite its strengths, the film falls short in certain areas such as implausible murder scenes, underdeveloped character backstories, and a conclusion that, while thought-provoking, leaves several loose ends and unanswered questions.
