"There are blind people with no fingers who are better at playing shadow puppets than you!". I didn't realise that this was an Aardman animation as there isn't a blob of plasticine to be seen. Instead we observe two shadowy Scotsmen who are stuck indoors and bored out of their tiny minds. They could listen to the radio, but that's all (literally) same old, same old. How about a game of chess? Well it appears that mother nature needs to play ball on that front first. I know, let's play shadow puppets. Some of the dialogue is really quite enjoyably sarcastic as these two gradually reach the end of their tethers. Even a double glazing salesman disguised as a dog - or a shopping trolley - can't inject any joy into their day. I did quite enjoy his - all it needed was a song from Art Garfunkel.
