Gerard Diefenthal (born August 14, 1966) is a French film director and visual storyteller, born in Germany. He is the founder and creative force behind Majestic XII Srl, an independent studio known for atmospheric, genre-driven productions. Diefenthal's signature style blends European gothic aesthetics with modern cinematic techniques, especially within the supernatural and horror genres. His current project, Darkside Witches II, explores witchcraft mythology and female power through a darkly poetic lens, set in the haunting landscapes of Scotland. As a director, Diefenthal is recognized for his meticulous visual worldbuilding, practical effects, and his psychological approach to storytelling.
