Born in Kyoto in 1956. Encounters the super 8 camera around 1970. After severak study productions in the 70s, he starts to produce and present works around 1980. Joins Voyant Cinémathèque in 1985. Takes up videowork from 1990. Has presented many works in film festivals and project exhibitions both in Japan and abroad. Manages Finder's Büro, a video production studio, since 1994. Currently residing in Kyoto.
